Meet your Career Coach - Mr Harvey Green

A Personal Journey:
Harvey is your career coach, and no stranger to career change. He has
undertaken three significant careers in his working life, each requiring
extensive training and re-skilling. Firstly as a Biochemist, then as a
Psychologist, and currently as a Training & Management Consultant/
Business Owner.
- Biochemist: For the first 15 years of his working life,
following a degree in Bio-Medical Science (Biochemistry) at the
University of Technology, Sydney, Harvey worked in various hospitals
and chemical companies as a Biochemist.
- Psychologist: The career change came as a result of
a desire to work more with people, instead of test tubes.
Consequently, Harvey undertook further degrees in Psychology,
firstly at the University of NSW and then at the University of
Sydney. For the next 8 years he worked as a Psychologist in
different areas, including, Drug and Alcohol Addiction, Counselling,
Educational and Occupational Psychology.
- Training & Management Consultant/ Business Owner: The
third career evolved, following a desire to educate, train and coach
others, and required again, further skills and qualifications. He
subsequently completed, a Graduate Diploma in Adult Education, at
the University of Technology, Sydney. For the last 17 years, he has
run and managed his own business. He is the Director of WorkForce
Management Consulting, a VETAB (NSW Vocational Education and
Training Accreditation Board ) Registered Training Organisation,
accredited to deliver Certificates and Diplomas in Management and
Training and Development. Harvey is a Management Consultant, Trainer
and Psychologist, specializing in human resource management, and
training and development. He has undertaken a wide range of projects
and training programs for local, national and international clients.
Clients include both Private and Government organisations.

The benefit to you of Harvey's various and diverse careers, is that he
has unique insight and experience into career change, and the challenges
associated with selecting and starting a career all over again.
As a coach, he has extensive experience coaching and mentoring others,
in areas of career identification, career change, job application and

Harvey balances his work and life, with family, friends, sport and
travelling. He brings with him to the career coaching role, extensive
work and life experience, and an insight and passion to help others
achieve their goals.
