Identifying a career is more complex, than casually flicking through the job
adds on the weekend, hoping that some job might catch your eye.
It's fair to say, that many people in search of a career, would probably spend
more time organising a 2 week holiday, than planning their life. Planning your
life and career, is all "too hard".
At MyCareerCoach we take the pain out of planning. We work with you to identify
how your unique personality, skills, interests, talent and lifestyle, matches a
career that you can succeed at.
How do we do this?

Assessment
Questionnaires |
Using a variety of pen and
paper questionnaires that are targeted at
identifying your personality, skills, interests
and values, we get an insight into who you are
as an individual. This is fundamental, and forms
the basis to identifying a good career and
lifestyle match. |

Individual
Interview |
We undertake a comprehensive
and detailed face to face interview with you. We
get to the heart of your special characteristics
that will impact on your career selection and
get to know more about you as a person. We
identify your desires, interests, personal
objectives that will influence the type of
career for you. |

Review &
Research |
Following both the
questionnaires and face to face interview we
collate all the results and thoroughly review
the information at hand. As part of our detailed
review, we research various career options and
identify a series of careers, that match your
individuality. |

4 |
Feedback &
Fine Tuning |
In the follow up face to face
interview, approximately 1 week later, we
provide feedback to you about the options and
suggestions we have identified. In this meeting,
each option is discussed at length and fine
tuned to fit you and to create a short list. We
prioritise the careers that you prefer in
preparation for the next step. |

Action Plan |
In this face to face interview
we then develop an action plan. We map out the
strategies that will move you forward into your
new career. We help to identify barriers that
may interfere with your success, and assist in
ways to overcome these obstacles, for you to
realise your career goal. |
The whole 5 step process is comprehensive, confidential and personal. It
involves the completion of the questionnaires plus several hours of face to face
meetings, that are spread out over a week. Consequently the whole process is
very thorough, in providing you with accurate and detailed information.
The interviews are undertaken with a Registered Psychologist who specialises in
career coaching.
